Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they went to in Hamburg. They knew then that it was a perfect match. Ashley, who was 17 at the time and never having had a relationship before, took the time to get acquainted. However, it was true romance at first sight. Andrew prayed on New Year's Eve just ahead of the beginning of the new year in 2016, to God would grant him a last blessing this year. Then, Ashley would get married to him. Ashley decided to plan an event with a traditional wooden theme that could truly reflect her and Andrew. The couple combined their favorite items for their wedding. Ashley was raised on 40 acres. They walked from the path down to the field where the couple proposed in Ashley has explored and played around on it. Andrew and Ashley were walking through the same area when they were engaged. Since the wedding was almost entirely DIY, personalization played an integral role. Ashley designed and painted a lot of the decorations. Andrew and Ashley's dad designed the seating area and the ceremony arch. Ashley claims that, with Anna's stunning floral design the wedding would not have been as magical or romantic as we imagined. Absolutely stunning.
